Terms and Conditions
After the customer’s initial enquiry and our subsequent site visit we aim to have a quote prepared within a few days depending on the size of the job. Following acceptance, smaller works will normally be started within a couple of weeks or by arrangement with the customer. A 50% deposit is usually required unless otherwise agreed. Larger contracts may require additional stage payments and an agreement will be made to suit both parties.
All prices quoted include VAT where payable on materials and are subject to no unforeseen problems arising and the site being clear for work, additional work will be charged at our standard hourly rate. Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise arranged, and interest will be charged on late payment at 8% per annum plus costs. If payment of invoices is not received, we reserve the right to recover any costs, commissions or fees incurred for the collection of payment including those which may be incurred by using a debt collection agency. The title of goods supplied does not pass to the purchaser until paid for in full.
Prices quoted do not include waste removal from site unless stated or agreed. It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain the appropriate regulatory permissions unless stated; Building Regulations Approval is usually required for replacement doors and windows in England and Wales. All timber used for our bespoke joinery is solid; we do not use engineered or faced timber unless stated. Timber is a natural resource and may be subject to minor movement or slight imperfections despite our stringent selective processes.
